With a history of recruiting the kind of famous faces usually found in front of the camera — from Gary Oldman and Willem Dafoe to Michael Pitt and Jude LawPrada has this time looked to the other side of the lens to find the focus of its latest campaign. With Raf Simons collaborator Willy Vanderperre taking up position behind the camera, legendary Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar (Volver, The Skin I Live In) takes his place front and center as the face of the Italian house’s Fall/Winter 2017 campaign.

In a video shot inside Prada headquarters, the auteur — used to getting the best out of his own subjects — conjures some unusual poses in clothing from the Fall/Winter 2017 collection.
