LVMH Launches New Online Retailer 24 Sèvres
A joint effort with French department store Le Bon Marché.

Renowned French retailer Le Bon Marché and fashion giant LVMH have connected to launch a new online shopping platform, 24 Sèvres. Teaming up to bring Parisian luxury and high-end taste to the world of e-commerce, LVMH and Le Bon Marché aim to represent the French spin on fashion in the ever-evolving online shopping market. “There has been, until now, a void in the e-commerce landscape for a Parisian take on fashion,” 24 Sèvres CEO Eric Goguey tells Forbes. “With the mystique surrounding Parisian style continuing to fascinate, and Le Bon Marché’s quintessential Parisian positioning, it felt like a natural progression to adapt this experience for the digital space, and make it available to the global consumer.”
With 24 Sèvres, the Le Bon Marché and LVMH ethos now has a fully-functional online retailer to lead and its supporters hope to forge “new standards” for the way luxury goods are purchased and promoted on the internet. Nearly two years in the making, 24 Sèvres is finally available for use and online. LVMH’s latest venture was originally announced last month. Goguey explains:
“The products and brands sold on 24 Sèvres will be selected and curated with the same eye and taste as Le Bon Marché; the offering will include a mix of renowned maisons, as well as emerging designers.
It was important to us to embrace and include not just luxury houses, but also up and coming labels, across ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, leather goods and beauty. Customers will also be able to find something to suit any budget, with items ranging from around $70.”
