‘Jurassic World 2’ Reveals Official Title With Nostalgic Poster
“Life Finds a Way.”
After dropping a teaser image back in march, the Jurassic World sequel has finally unleashed its first official teaser poster along with the film’s title, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The poster also sports the tagline, “Life Finds a Way,” quoting Ian Malcolm’s (played by Jeff Goldblum) famous edict.
The followup to 2015’s hit Jurassic World will see Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprising their roles alongside newcomers Toby Jones, Justice Smith, Rafe Spall, Ted Levine, Daniella Pineda, Geraldine Chaplin and James Cromwell. Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg will produce the film, which is scheduled for a release on June 22, 2018.
On the new film’s premise, producer Colin Trevorrow states:
“It’s definitely about our greed and the depths of depravity that humans will sink in order to satisfy their need for profit. We’re certainly continuing with a lot of those themes but in different ways. But without spoiling anything there’s definitely new themes that have never been examined in a Jurassic movie before that we’ve gotten into that I really think will expand people’s idea of what these movies can be, that it’s not just people running away from dinosaurs on an island.”
