Rare 2000s Pepsi Fire Flavor Makes Its Way Stateside in Slurpee Form
But where is Pepsi Ice?
In an effort to recover from its disastrous ad campaign with Kendall Jenner, Pepsi has silently brought back its cinnamon-flavored Pepsi Fire. Select 7-11s in Michigan have already received the Slurpee flavor and according to The Street, a Pepsi spokeswoman confirmed that it is a limited edition flavor and will not release in can form. However, some fan photos on Instagram show a “prototype” can version. If you look closely at the photo, it looks like there’s a “pull” date set for June 27.
The Pepsi Fire flavor first made an appearance abroad in the 2000s with a twin Pepsi Ice flavor in Guam, Saipan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Vietnam. Only time will tell if Pepsi brings back the mint-flavored Pepsi Ice next. Let us know if you’ve spotted the Fire in the wild.
