Novak Djokovic Signs With Lacoste After Uniqlo Partnership Ends
The Serbian tennis star is now “The New Crocodile.”

Novak Djokovic has just been announced as the new face of the Lacoste brand right on the heels of his 30th birthday, today. The signing follows the end of the Serbian tennis star’s five-year deal with Uniqlo. The deal consists of Djokovic becoming brand ambassador, ad appearances, and a release of a signature line — the clothing will include performance pique polo shirts and shorts and will be available this month at Lacoste retailers. The currently No. 2 ranked player in the world will debut the range at this year’s French Open.
Additionally, there will be an advertising campaign and short film to come soon focusing on a “changeover with Djokovic and the founder,” René Lacoste. Besides Uniqlo and Lacoste, Djokovic has also previously signed with adidas and Sergio Tacchini.
