Nike's KD 9 Elite Takes Some Color Cues From a Game of Hardball

The championship chase continues for Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors. Despite KD’s tenth signature shoe being revealed, that won’t stop the Swoosh from launching Elite editions of his ninth silhouette. Next up is the Nike KD 9 Elite “Hyper Orange.” The upcoming colorway is reminiscent of the Bay Area’s popular baseball squad thanks to its mix of black, hyper orange and grey throughout. Its full-length Zoom Air cushioning is placed between a white midsole and black outsole that supports a Flyknit-based upper. You’ll also find exposed Dynamic Flywire in hyper orange/black to lock your foot in.
