Lil B Warns James Harden To "Calm Down" or Another Curse Is on the Way

Lil B took to his blue podium last night to warn James Harden of an impending curse if he doesn’t “calm down with the lil b cooking dance sports celebration.” During the third quarter of the Houston Rockets’s Game 1 blow-out win over the OKC Thunder yesterday, Harden put Enes Kanter through the spin cycle, leaving him out to dry as the superstar combo-guard breezed in for an uncontested lay-up. As he made his way up the court, The Beard put his imaginary spoon in his imaginary bowl and stirred its imaginary contents, just as Lil B has done for so many years.

This isn’t the first, second or third time Lil B and James Harden have crossed paths. During the 2015 playoffs, when Harden and the Rockets were playing the Californian rapper’s hometown team, the Warriors, in the Western Conference Finals, Lil B noticed Harden imitating his “cooking” celebration on the floor. That lead to a stern warning from The Based God, followed by a full-fledged curse because Harden chose not to acknowledge the dance’s originator. The Rockets would go on to lose the series in a game where Harden set the record for most turnovers in a playoff game with 12. This “conflict” went back and forth: Lil B lifted the curse following the 2015 playoffs, then reinstated it before the start of the new season.

James, if you’re somewhere reading this, this season is not the season to mess with The Based God’s curse. Just give him his props and move on, or you will fall to the curse just as many before you have.
