Jesse Williams Hits up KITH NYC for 'Sneaker Shopping'
The popular actor & activist grew up in the Jordan era.

For the latest edition of the popular footwear series, Joe La Puma and company head to Kith NYC with actor and activist Jesse Williams to talk Reebook Blacktops, Nike Uptempos, his lack of interest in adidas low-tops, the Ronnie Fieg and ASICS collaboration, and more. “I lived in Chicago at the beginning of the whole Jordan era,” Williams explains at the beginning of the feature. “You’d get killed for your shoes. We couldn’t afford them, and my parents wouldn’t get them for me even if they could because of the risk of getting jacked for them.”
