The latest installment of Sneaker Shopping features Allen Iverson, one of the most prolific NBA Hall of Famers. Alongside host Joe La Puma, the two make a stop at Philadelphia’s Laptone & Hammer to talk sneaker design, self-expression and much more. Throughout their discussion, Iverson credits Michael Jordan for inspiring him on and off the court when it came to footwear. A.I. also divulges who today reflects his game the most in which he references the explosiveness and heart of Russell Westbrook.

Before shopping around, Iverson then sheds light on the “ass whooping” he had to take during his time in the NBA and the progress he’s seen in reference to other athletes expressing themselves through fashion.

Check out the video above for the full conversation and to find out what “The Answer” ended up leaving the store with.
