KENZO's Wild Prints Take Over Nigeria in Its 2017 Spring/Summer Lookbook
Celebrating the rituals of the indigenous Igbo community.













Parisian fashion house KENZO takes its wild 2017 spring/summer collection to the communities of southern Nigeria for its latest lookbook. KENZO’s colorful storytelling through photos offers up a look into the various ceremonies, rites and rituals within the indigenous Igbo tribe, as the garments’s vibrant prints and colors compliment their surroundings.
The images featured above will be included in the inaugural issue of KENZO Folio, a quarterly publication that will be dedicated to spotlighting KENZO’s recent looks. A video about the project featuring filmmaker Akinola Davies Jr., photographer Ruth Ossai and stylist Ibrahim Kamara will also be available to watch over at KENZO’s website starting on Thursday, April 27. The KENZO 2017 spring/summer collection is in stores now.
