Watch Chris Stamp Put Jordan Clarkson's Fashion Design Skills to the Test
Can the NBA star bring his magic to Stampd clothing?
While NBA star Jordan Clarkson is killing it on the court, off the court, the 24-year-old athlete aspires to be a fashion designer. To help jump-start Clarkson’s dream, Delta Air Lines paired the Lakers guard with Stampd creative director Chris Stamp as part of its larger Beyond the Court program — helping Lakers players’ dreams take flight. Together, they co-hosted an event at the Stampd store on La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles where one hundred Lakers fans were invited by Delta to hear Stamp and Clarkson speak on fashion and design, and three attendees were chosen by Clarkson to style a model using the Stampd spring collection. Excited about the opportunity, Clarkson remarked that, “I jumped at the chance to meet with [Chris] and talk about design, what inspires us creatively, and to create some looks together.”
