Everyone knows that tech conferences can be stuffy, formal, business functions. Festivals, on the other hand, are a kaleidoscope of music, mud and sweat. When SXSW takes over, Austin, Texas is somewhere between the two. That’s why HYPEBEAST partnered up with the A$AP Mob and 1800 Tequila to throw a cozy house party in a mansion: classy enough for a conference, but lit enough for one of the world’s most forward-thinking music festivals — just refined enough.
While we were there, we talked to some of the party’s stylish attendees, including the man of the hour, Lord Pretty Flacko himself, A$AP Rocky, to glean some advice on how to balance work and play, what vibes are essential to a party and whether they’d rather be under-dressed or over-dressed for the function.
