Gosha Rubchinskiy stepped into 2017 with a striking runway show for his most recent fall/winter collection in Kaliningrad. Now, the designer is set to make his modish imprint on yet another major Russian city for his 2018 spring/summer presentation. According to Vogue, Rubchinskiy’s next warm-season assemblage will be showcased in St. Petersburg —- the country’s second largest city located on the Baltic Sea with an estimated population of six million people. Not to mention, the city’s famed Hermitage museum has a bevy of masterpieces on display spanning Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Picasso, Rubens and Matisse.

It’s possible that St. Petersburg’s artsy charm may have some sort of influence on Rubchinskiy’s aesthetic for the upcoming wares. The last range culled an eclectic batch of streetwear pieces alongside traditional suiting. Of course, who can forget the sleek sportswear items made in collaboration with adidas Football? All in all, fans will just have to wait until June 9 to see what Rubchinskiy’s got to offer.
