Following the announcement of Gosha Rubchisnkiy’s long-term collaboration with adidas Football leading up to the 2018 World Cup is a front row look at the designer’s 2017 fall/winter runway show in Kaliningrad, Russia. Simply dubbed the “Football Collection,” the cold weather range offers a wide array of pieces made in collaboration with the athletic brand. From winter padded coats swathed in plaid patterns to football jerseys aptly embellished with The Three Stripes insignia, the assemblage fuses off-pitch wares with Rubchinskiy’s signature formal fits. Accompanying the outerwear and soft goods are co-produced headwear pieces with renowned UK milliner, Stephen Jones.
