Hot on the heels of The OA, Netflix has yet another science-fiction original in tow: iBoy. Helmed by British director Adam Randall and based on the 2011 Kevin Brooks novel of the same name, iBoy centers around a teenage boy named Tom who develops a strange set of superpowers after “a violent encounter with local thugs leaves fragments of his shattered smartphone embedded in his brain.” Naturally, after awakening from a coma, Tom sets out to get revenge on the gang, which also attacked his best friend Lucy.

Starring Bill Milner (Son of Rambow, Is Anybody There?, X-Men: First Class) alongside Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, iBoy is set to hit Netflix on January 27.
