See How Adobe Uses Artificial Intelligence to Improve Selfies
Powered by its impressive Sensei framework.
Continuing along Adobe’s experimentation with AI and machine learning to improve photos and even audio software, its Sensei tools have been programmed to specifically help you step up your selfie game. In a video published last week, the Adobe research team shows how a simple photo can be upgraded by using masks to alter the depth of field and swap out backgrounds. Additionally, the perspective can be skewed to mimic natural portraits, and styles from existing images can be seamlessly applied to the photo with one click. While Photoshop’s app possesses some of these editing capabilities already, the face-aware feature was recently made available on desktop, and appears to be making its way to mobile in the near future. Get a glimpse at the intriguing technology above.
