USUGROW & Toshikazu Nozaka Join Forces on a Capsule Collection for Volcom
The old “Oriental Elements” collaborators link up for a new exhibition and capsule collection.
Fellow Japanese artistic heavyweights USUGROW and Toshikazu Nozaka are no strangers to each other’s work, joining forces in years past to exhibit alongside one another with multiple installments of their “Oriental Elements” display. This month, the two are back at it and bringing Volcom in to the fold to launch a special capsule collection. Featuring everything from tees and skate decks to tumblers and tenuguis, the range makes use of Volcom’s ubiquitous stone logo while coupling USUGROW’s calligraphy with Nozaka’s Edo- and Meiji-inspired graphics.
For a closer look at the collection, head on over to the Volcom Japan website and look for a special exhibition highlighting the collaborative works — and featuring a live painting demonstration from the two artists — to hit Volcom’s Tokyo flagship on April 14.
