Whiteside hit rock bottom after being released by the Sacramento Kings following a drop in stock in 2012. As a result, he packed his bags and headed overseas to dominate in locations such as Lebanon and eventually winning a championship in China. This led to a call from the Miami Heat where Whiteside has flourished in efficiency on the court, becoming a household name in the city of Miami and ultimately convincing DJ Khaled to add Snapchat to his phone, which we all know would lead to a social boom on his end.
