New York Mets Slugger Yoenis Céspedes Takes Us on a Tour of His Florida Ranch
Where a silver slugger becomes a humbled cowboy.
The New York Mets have a pitching staff that commands headlines but they also have Yoenis Céspedes, a Cuban outfielder who is one of the most electric playmakers, both on offense and defense, in baseball. Yo, as he’s affectionately called by the Queens faithful, hits home runs with authority and often shows up to spring training and Citi Field in lavish sports cars. VICE Sports takes a look inside the life of the slugger outside the bright lights of New York and gives a glimpse at just how much work he puts into his craft, family and farms filled with his beloved animals.
