adidas Pays Homage to the Copa Mundial With an Off-Pitch Update

Arguably the most popular football boot of all-time, adidas’s Copa Mundial — which has inspired the likes of Dennis Busenitz‘s signature kicks — is the subject of a brand new off-pitch update from the Three Stripes. Dubbed the Mundial Team, the new design reimagines the iconic boot as a contemporary, street-centric silhouette, retaining its classic looks while ditching its cleats in favor of a lifestyle-ready sole unit. Best of all, the K-Leather and suede construction even comes in clean “Triple White” and “Triple Black” looks.
