Gravis and BILLY's Team up to Create a Bespoke Rival
Taking inspiration from the everyday things we sometimes ignore.
Gravis has teamed up with Japanese footwear store BILLY’S to remake one of its most famous models, the Rival. The shoe’s heyday was in the latter half of the 1990s and the early 2000s — making it ripe for revival — and the main inspiration for the collaboration was earth and the things we come into contact with everyday but sometimes ignore. The shoe is available in three colorways, called midnight, stone and dune respectively, all using a suede upper as well as Gravis’s renowned C9 insole. The shoe will cost approximately $150 USD and will be available for pre-order exclusively from BILLY’S web store.
