Filling Pieces 2017 Spring/Summer Lookbook Channels the Positive Energy of Madagascar

Amsterdam-based footwear label Filling Pieces present its 2017 spring/summer lookbook, titled ‘Let Us Create.’ Shot entirely in Madagascar, the collection celebrates the creative, enduring spirit of the brand and features shoes that harness the minimalistic, refined aesthetic that Filling Pieces are renowned for.
Focusing on light, earthy tones, the setting of the African island was the ideal canvas for photographer Lotte Van-Raalte. The combination of the sandy plains and the bustling coastal towns creates the perfect backdrop for a collection so steeped in natural pinks, beiges and browns. The range incorporates features that are new territory for Filling Pieces. The Low Top Harness Woven Beige for example, uses performance mesh panelling and a gum sole that, for the first time, have been designed exclusively in-house by the brand.
