Marlon Wayans Relives the Same 'Naked' Nightmare in Latest Netflix Teaser
A more humiliating ‘Groundhog Day.’
Netflix just released the hilarious official teaser for Naked starring Marlon Wayans. It’s safe to say that the incoming film closely resembles the fantastical narrative of the 1993 cult comedy, Groundhog Day. However, it’s presumably an adaptation of the Swedish motion picture, Naken.
The plot? Groom-to-be, Rob Anderson (Wayans), must relive the same nude nightmare after engaging in a night of debauchery with his best man (Jonathan Todd Jackson). Each day, Anderson wakes up inside an elevator in his birthday suit and has only one hour to right his wrongs before coming face-to-face with his bride. All in all, he undergoes a slew of ridiculous obstacles, such as avoiding the authorities and getting into fisticuffs with a motorcycle gang.
Watch the teaser above and expect Naked to launch on Netflix on August 11.
