For Spring 2017, Converse is giving its classic Chuck Taylor Canvas Hi the GORE-TEX treatment to keep you covered for the approaching April showers. The iconic hi-top model keeps its original look from the ’70s, coming in the popular black colorway featuring all the retro details such as white sidewall stitching, signature All Star rubber toe box, textured toe bumper, All Star ankle patch, and the vintage heel plate. The only difference is that the premium canvas upper is now reinforced with GORE-TEX fabric to ensure a dry and breathable step, even when dunked in water like the video above shows.
