Annie Clark is definitely taking her creative endeavors outside of St. Vincent (and her other musical projects) very seriously. Following the release of last month’s lead trailer for her horror film The Birthday Party, the universally-acclaimed multi-instrumentalist is celebrating today’s unveiling of her directorial debut by sharing a new clip from her film. With the film now available for viewing in theaters and through on-demand services, today’s brief visual should get you ready for the bizarre, surreal experience that is The Birthday Party. Annie Clark’s new flick is part of the horror anthology XX, which also includes Her Only Living Son, Don’t Fall and The Box.
