Raf Simons' 2017 Fall/Winter Collection Declares His Love for NYC

“I LOVE NY.”

Following a rare interview with GQ Style, where iconic designer Raf Simons spoke about Donald Trump and Virgil Abloh’s OFF-WHITE, Simons’ eponymous label finally made its NYFW debut. Undeniably one of the most applauded designers in modern day, the Belgian most recently left his post at Dior and moved stateside to helm both his namesake line and Calvin Klein. His latest collection for Raf Simons features some of his styles that we have some to know in recent seasons — such as oversized sweaters, knits and more cozy fare. The designer also declared his love for NYC with a few drop-shoulder knits and interpretations of the iconic “I LOVE NY” design. However, the highlight of the show was definitely the range of styling options that Simons has incorporated — from statement jewelry pieces for men (think bejeweled necklaces) to cinched waists courtesy of belts over boxy coats. Take a look at the show above and let us know what you think.

Anticipate Raf Simons’ Calvin Klein debut (showing both menswear and womenswear) on February 10.
