Nike Looks to Evolve the Air Max Line With New Guile Silhouette

As Nike sets to turn the page on a prosperous 2017, the sportswear giant looks ahead — opening a new chapter for its Air Max lineup with the Guile silhouette. The Swoosh brand gravitates towards a simplified design — for its initial debut anyway — sticking primarily to a subtle color scheme, while steering clear of any garish prints.
The uppers feature a mix of leather, suede and mesh in monochromatic grey, with hits of white appearing on the side panel Swoosh and Air-infused midsole. One of the model’s defining characteristics comes by way of the black outsole, which incorporates oval-esque cutouts — allowing an up-close glimpse at the Air Max sole. Having already debuted overseas, the new design could be making its stateside debut in the near future.
