Watch James Franco's 'SNL' Opening Monologue
With guest appearances from Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and Steve Martin.
As well as featuring an appearance from SZA, the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live also saw actor James Franco host the show for the fourth time. As Franco mentions at the beginning of the show “the fourth time here, they don’t even write you a monologue, they just throw you out here and make you take questions from the audience.”
The audience participation sees the crowd ask questions ranging from “what time is it?” to “Do you feel like your career has an overarching theme?” Eventually, though, some special guests appear in the audience, with guest appearances from Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and Steve Martin over the course of the introduction.
