On the verge of opening its second Manila-based flagship.
Commonwealth, since first opening its doors in the mid-2000s, has steadily built up its name in the ever-evolving streetwear space — successfully ushering in some of the industry’s most prevalent tastemakers. Following along the same path as its U.S.-based counterparts, Commonwealth has since opened its doors in Manila — quickly emerging into the region’s premier retail complex. On the verge of launching its second outpost in the bustling South-East Asian metro, the imprint has released its latest visual offering for Fall/Winter 2017 — spotlighting a handful of names, not only exclusive to the country, but to the regional branch of the Commonwealth name.
Situated in one of the city’s most historic sub-districts, a newly revived pre-WWII Art Deco building had been cast as the lookbook backdrop, which, over the past few years has gained traction as a burgeoning cultural hub.
