Eli Reed's Converse CONS CTAS Pro & One Star Pro Draws Influence From His Childhood
Complete with a self-portrait of his mother on the sock liner.
New York-based designer and skater Eli Reed translates his personal style on pairs of CTAS Pros and One Star Pros from Converse. The smooth premium leather uppers on both silhouettes were inspired by a pair of Clarks Wallabees, his favorite pair of shoes growing up.
Both feature red accents and corresponding outsoles, a tricolor reggae-inspired heel stripe, and a self-portrait of his mother on the sock liner that she painted when Eli was a kid — artistically translated as an unfinished puzzle. The Converse Eli Reed CTAS Pro and a One Star Pro are available starting today on nike.com for $85 and $80 USD, respectively.
