Bephie Gibbs Introduces Clothing Line at Union LA
Chris Gibbs’ wife celebrates the “names, style and grace” of black women.

Union LA is keeping busy. The retailer recently unveiled a collaborative release with Thee-Teen-Aged alongside a new clothing line designed by owner and manager Chris Gibbs‘ wife.
Bephie Gibbs’ eponymous line of goods kicked off at Miami’s Art Basel, and returns to California with a trio of illustrative T-shirts. Featuring sketches from artist Nosesso, the T-shirts are a celebration of “Black women, their names, style and grace,” boasting a quintet of people on the front and a selection of names on the rear. A “Nosesso” tag on the sleeve and “bephie” tag on the lower left of each pink, yellow or blue shirt.
The made in America shirts are available from Union for $70 USD. Gibbs recently sat down with HYPEBEAST Radio, discussing the recent Social Studies event at Art Basel.
