Oats Studios “tests the water” with a glimpse of its new galactic story.
Praetoria is the next visually-stunning CGI sci-fi short from Neill Blomkamp and his Oats Studios. There’s still no clear plot in this video since they’re still “testing the water” but it appears the District 9 director is experimenting with some original ideas as he’s done for his last few shorts.
The visuals and body armor featured in the trailer above is reminiscent of Microsoft‘s flagship series Halo. It emphasizes a dystopian world with thematic juxtapositions between human emotions and cold technology. Check out the trailer and leave your comments below.
