Astro Boy Teams up With BAIT and Diadora for a B.Elite & Intrepid Collection

Japanese manga character Astro Boy teams up with BAIT and Diadora for a thematic B.Elite and Intrepid collaboration. The footwear collection is extended with an apparel capsule that includes Diadora track jackets, which match either sneaker, as well as a range of T-shirts, hats, socks and various accessories.

The Intrepid’s colorway is inspired by Astro Boy’s signature colors and made with a combination of premium leather and wolverine silk suede. An embroidered Astro Boy figure at the heel and original Tetsuwan Atom logo branding at the tongue pay homage to the collection, while an icy outsole reveals even more Astro Boy artwork.

The B.Elite boasts an all-white, premium leather makeup with flying Astro Boy embroidery on the lateral sides of the silhouette. The heel and tongue tabs are debossed with an original Tetsuwan Atom logo, as well as co-branded BAIT and Diadora insignias to signal the special collaboration.

Both sneakers come with an Astro Boy manga insole, exclusive keychain and limited-edition box, with “blue print” tissues of Astro Boy’s mechanics. The Intrepid retails for $170 USD, the B.Elite for $140 USD, and the matching track jackets for $100 USD each.

The first BAIT x Astro Boy x Diadora Intrepid and B.Elite drop will launch on November 22 in-store and online via raffle at BAIT’s website, as well as Footlocker locations.
