Known for his stunning visuals, vibrant color-blocking, and outlandish imagery, creative head Dapper Lou is a seasoned photographer and stylist, collaborating with the likes of Adrianne Ho for New Balance and styling numerous editorials. The Brooklyn-based native started working in retail and took styling gigs on the side to fulfill his passion for the fashion scene, transforming visuals into stylized works of art.
Interested to know about his visionary process, HYPEBEAST linked up with Dapper Lou in Brooklyn for one of his intimate photo shoots. Equipped in Armani Exchange‘s latest Connected Hybrid Smartwatch, Lou tested out the tech utility timepiece on set. Compatible with an Android and iPhone, Lou synced the watch to his playlist, setting the mood while the timepiece later alerted him when the model arrived to his studio. He even utilized the activity tracker function to scout locations within the area.
