Porsche Is Bringing Back the Classic 911 Carrera T
Not your standard coupe.
Continuing its focus on driver experience, Porsche recently announced that it is set to revive its classic 911 Carrera T from 1968. With a number of non-standard additions, the 2018 911 Carrera T is a modern iteration of an icon designed for driving purists. Some features include a twin-turbo flat-six engine, which produces 370 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque, a PASM Sport suspension, shortened gear lever and optional rear-axle steering. Also, utilizing lightweight glass for the rear windows and door opener loops — ensures that this reworked model will be the lightest 911 ever. Retailing at $102,100 USD, the revamped Porsche 911 Carrera T is set to hit US dealers come March 2018.
