Woolrich Teams up With New Balance for Made US 997 Model
Blending high-tech wool with one of New Balance’s signature shapes.
In a week that’s already shaping up to be big for collaborations, the latest instalment comes to us from Woolrich and New Balance – two names known for quality in their own right. The pair have worked on a Made in the USA model 997, with the sneaker given the collaborative touch via accents of Woolrich’s high performance wool on the vamp and tongue.
Elsewhere the shoe uses a suede and mesh upper alongside NB’s signature ENCAP midsole technology for comfort. There’s also a limited-edition blanket made from the same wool seen on the 997.
The Woolrich x New Balance MADE US 997 collaboration will release at select retailers from October 23. It’s been a busy period for New Balance and collaboration, having recently worked with mita sneakers on a multi-colored edition of the 574.
