Latest Nintendo Switch Update Allows Users to Record Video Clips
A host of new and updated facets.

Nintendo‘s hugely in-demand Switch gets a version 4.0 update this week, adding in some key features. First and foremost, the system’s Record button is getting an upgrade.
Previously used to capture screenshots, the button can now be held down to record footage of the last 30 seconds of gameplay. It only works with a handful of games for now, but expect further capability to be included in due time. The new update also allows for users to transfer saved data from one Switch to another, including user profiles, and pre-loaded games. This means that any games pre-ordered from Nintendo’s eShop will be playable from the moment it releases, without having to download anything.
The easy-to download update is available now. Check out the info on Nintendo’s site and watch a video of the new Record feature in action below.
In related news, Nintendo just released a new trailer for Pokémon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon offering a glimpse at the new Pokémon, Necrozma.
