Nicki Minaj Reveals Her Remix of Lil Uzi Vert's "The Way Life Goes" Is Finished
But someone is holding back the release.
Nicki Minaj recently revealed on Twitter that her remix of Lil Uzi Vert’s track “The Way Life Goes” has been completed, but there is an outside force that is delaying its release. Minaj offered the info citing it isn’t Uzi or her putting the song on hold when a fan asked about the status of the remix. Some fans are noting that the situation is similar to Uzi’s delayed album release leading them to speculate DJ Drama, the head of the record label Uzi is signed to, is the person responsible. In a later tweet, Minaj confirmed fan speculations stating Don Cannon and Drama are responsible for the delay. No word yet on when we can expect the remix of “The Way Life Goes” just yet, but stay tuned for more details when they become available.
