Selfridges Unveils Exclusive Metallica Capsule From Justin O'Shea
Coinciding with the band’s UK tour.
Fresh from hosting A$AP Rocky’s AWGE Bodega, London’s Selfridges has now unveiled its latest exclusive collection. This time working with Metallica, the store is set to release a capsule designed by Justin O’Shea and the rest of the creative team behind his luxury streetwear label SSS World Corp.
The collection includes outerwear, sweaters, hats, socks and accessories, with Metallica’s iconic logo font also being applied to the word “London” and to the Selfridges logo. The capsule has been heavily influenced by pieces from the band’s archive, with Metallica merch being some of the most recognizable in the world.
Selfridges’ Metallica capsule is set to launch in-store on October 20, two days before the band begins the UK leg of its tour.
As well as launching this exclusive Metallica collection, the store has also recently worked with BAPE on a London and UK-themed capsule.
