BAPE Unveils British-Themed "Our City" Capsule
Exclusively available at Selfridges.
After recently unveiling a Halloween-themed capsule, BAPE has remained on something of a roll and revealed a second special capsule collection. Titled “Our City,” the latest release is British-themed, and sees classic pieces reimagined with British graphics and iconography.
The collection includes shark hoodies, which are finished with the British flag on the back and on repeated BAPE-logo motifs, T-shirts featuring different versions of the BAPE logo, and branded tote bags. Arguably the stand-out piece from the collection is a reissue of the Sk8thing-designed commemorative T-shirt which BAPE released to celebrate the 8th anniversary of its London store back in 2010.
The full collection is exclusive to Selfridges, with all of the pieces being available from October 14 from the London, Birmingham and Manchester stores. Pricing is set to range from £75 GBP (approx. $100 USD) for a tote bag to £430 GBP (approx. $565 USD) for a hoodie.
