Louis Vuitton Takes 'Stranger Things' to the Runway
Pop culture comes to Paris Fashion Week.

Between collaborating with Supreme early in the summer and last month being crowned by Interbrand as the best fashion brand in the world, it’s been a good year so far for Louis Vuitton. Now, with Paris Fashion Week coming to a close, the brand — helmed by Nicolas Ghesquière and Kim Jones — continues to push forward, embracing both its own heritage as a fashion house and the world of popular culture.
Amongst the mix of characteristically intricate pieces and revamped classics — including new snap-cuff pants and a set of heavily embroidered, borderline regal jackets — it’s a T-shirt grabbing early headlines. And, while it’s no secret that Ghesquière is a fan of the show, the appearance of a Stranger Things tee — styled over an airy poet blouse with sheer pink pants — is further evidence of the brand’s forward-thinking, tongue-in-cheek approach to fashion.
It’s a timely appearance for the new tee, with Stranger Things: Season 2 set to hit screens October 27. And, for more from Louis Vuitton, check out the French house’s latest sneaker drop.
