The Études x Matthew Chambers Collection Does Floral Right
Street-ready nostalgia.
As part of this season’s collection, Études tapped American artist Matthew Chambers for a collaborative capsule inspired by the painter’s Montana Wildflowers series. The signature floral print is presented on traditional garments — knit sweaters, silk-button downs and puffer coats — and reimagined with contemporary proportions and details, showing how these sartorial platitudes are at once ordinary yet complex in their capacity for nostalgia and transformation.
What results is a range of garments that are as appropriate for the streets as they are for a weekend family visit. A heavy-knit sweater is reimagined with large, ballooning sleeves, knit scarves reach floor-skimming proportions and a puffer coat is amplified with blaring swatches of color. After flipping through the runway looks above, head over to Études’ website to shop the pieces.
