Having recently unveiled a mismatched, half-leather-half-suede “Cherry” take on the Dr. Martens Monkey Boot, Engineered Garments has now added three more shoes to the pack. All based on the Monkey Boot silhouette, the latest collaboration from the two brands sees Daiki Suzuki’s label use its classic asymmetrical aesthetic.
The additions to the capsule include a black version of the suede boot, as well as “Cherry” and black colorways of a shoe that mixes clean leather with pebbled leather in the same mismatched way. All four Monkey Boots are edited to come with a slightly lower 6-inch chukka upper and a 6-eye lace closer, as well as classic Dr. Martens features such ass the yellow welt-stitching and air-cushioned sole unit.
The latest capsule from Engineered Garments and Dr. Martens is set to drop via the New York brand on November 25, before releasing worldwide on December 16. While you wait for the pack to release, take a look at more Engineered Garments pieces in LANTIKI’s Fall/Winter 2017 editorial.
