Engineered Garments and Dr. Martens have released a remixed take on the latter’s classic Monkey Boot. Offering a timeless silhouette with a characteristic twist, this collaborative take on the archive boot is swathed in oxblood suede and deep burgundy smooth leather for a nod to EG’s signature mismatched aesthetic.
The traditional silhouette gets edited to a slightly lower 6-inch chukka height with a 6-eye lace closure, while the upper’s distinctive panel stitching, smooth cowhide lining, heat-sealed treatment and air-cushioned sole unit with yellow Z welt-stitching stay true to Dr. Martens’ reputable quality and design.
The Engineered Garments x Dr. Martens Mis-matched Monkey Boots will be available at select Engineered Garments stockists for a retail price of ¥54,000 JPY (approximately $480 USD) in the near future.
