Since UK Channel 4’s cult drama Top Boy was cancelled back in 2013, there has been a strong campaign to get the show back on TV. In 2016, the rights to the program were bought by Drake, with Skepta also revealed to be working on the relaunch. The Drizzy-led effort seems to have worked, with Netflix reportedly set to announce that it has commissioned two more seasons of the show.

In an Instagram post from April 2016, Ashley Walters – an actor on the show — revealed that the third series was “coming real soon.” Responding to newly-surfaced rumors, Walters told the BBC that there was nothing new to report “as of yet,” but that there should be more news on the series next month. There has also been no more updates on what role — if any – Drake is set to play in the revived Top Boy.

While you wait for Netflix to officially confirmed the return of Top Boy, check out all the best shows and films that definitely will be appearing on the streaming service over the next month.
