Descente ALLTERRAIN Readies Capsule Collection for 5th Anniversary
Functionality meets Japanese style.

Japan’s Descente ALLTERRAIN celebrates its 5th anniversary with a monochromatic capsule release. The offering includes two jackets, one pair of pants and a backpack, all of which are engineered to outlast the harshest elements.
All of the blacked-out items feature BOA technology for adjustable fits. The Schematech and Mizusawa Down jackets — the latter of which was recently seen in a United Arrows collaboration — offer a nylon dobby weave outfitted with CORDURA to guard against tears and damage. Like the matching Schematech pants, seams have been minimized to allow for a greater range of movement. Rounding out the offering is a bag made in collaboration with Japanese luggage experts PORTER, which also boasts CORDURA detailing and water resistance.
The collection is available on Descente’s website. The BOA closure system has recently shown up on two collaborative footwear models — the AlexanderLeeChang x Vans “Boa Skool” and the South2 West8 x SpectusShoeCo. Day Trekker Lite.
