Supreme & Nike Face-Off Against Palace & adidas in This Week's Sneaker Releases
Collaborations meet expensive technology, classic retros and more.

Once upon a time, long before the hype pervaded popular culture, the major sneaker brands would typically deliver one, maybe two coveted releases a month, with a heavy emphasis on storytelling. Nowadays, it’s commonplace to see these different labels ditch the ‘who, what, where, when and how,’ and instead drop multiple pairs of heat in just one weekend. A welcomed dilemma for most.
With that said, we continue our weekly roundup of the most sought after silhouettes for the week, hoping to make your ‘cop or drop’ decision as easy as possible. Check out the list below and chime in on the styles you’ll be picking up.
Supreme x Nike Air Humara
Release Date: October 26
Release Price: $170 USD, available online only in the US and Europe.
The powerhouses of Supreme and Nike have reunited for a new collaboration. Complemented by a selection of apparel and small choice of accessories, the star of the show is the Nike Air Humara model. The sneaker will be offered in pink, black, blue and volt options in addition to each hosting mesh overlays and reflective detailing. Supreme branding is found on its toebox and tongue tab, while Nike’s Swoosh calling is placed on the side paneling.
Nike Air Force 1 Low “Flax”

Nike
Release Date: October 26
Release Price: $120 USD, available via select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike SNKRS
“Flax” is back on the Nike Air Force 1 Low. As a growing tradition during fall/winter, Nike coats some of its most notable sneakers in tan coloring to coincide with the change in season. The only contrast you’ll find is its Nike branding on the tongue and heel. Durable rope laces are incorporated to finish off the look which should remind some of a traditional construction boot.
Nike Air Vapormax “Cookies & Cream”

Nike
Release Date: October 26
Release Price: $190 USD, available via select Nike retailers and Nike SNKRS
Typically associated with the Flyknit Trainer, Nike’s “Cookies & Cream” colorway returns on the Air Vapormax silhouette. The model’s sole unit, heel and Swoosh are all presented in black coloring, while its toebox mixes black and white to complete its dessert-inspired nickname.
Nike Air Max 1 “Royal”

Nike
Release Date: October 27
Release Price: $140 USD, available via select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike SNKRS
A classic returns in the Nike Air Max 1 “Royal.” The Tinker Hatfield-designed sneaker managed to change the footwear landscape like only a few have, thanks to its visible Air Max unit. White and grey complement the blue coloring found on its mudguard and Swoosh logos. An icon, true to form.
Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 “Tinker Blue”

Nike
Release Date: October 27
Release Price: $720 USD, available via select Nike retailers and Nike SNKRS
The innovative, yet expensive Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 continues its unprecedented run. The sneaker’s main attraction, of course, lies within its automatic lacing mechanics that allow for it to be adjusted just by the push of a button. Dubbed the “Tinker Blue” colorway, you’ll find a few shades of complementing blue throughout its upper, while white hits the Swoosh, midsole and laces.
Palace x adidas Originals PALACE Pro 2

The inclement weather-ready AF 1.4 PK is back in an attention-grabbing colorway. Previously presented in a subtle mix of black and white, “Scarlet” finds its way onto the Primeknit upper, joined by purple on its heel and teal on the tongue tab. Its hiking outsole returns to provide superior traction, in addition to waterproof overlays, weather-resistant lining, and an insulated sock-liner.
Nike LeBron 15 “Ashes”

Nike
Release Date: October 28

LeBron James is currently in his 15th NBA season and doesn’t seem to be slowly down. Neither does his signature line with Nike. This week we’ll be presented with King James’ 15th signature sneaker. Said to be James’ favorite sneaker to date, we’re going to see a few performance and lifestyle iterations of this model as James has already teased one designed by Ronnie Fieg. The upcoming “Ashes” edition keeps things simple thanks to its black-dominated upper and white speckled sole unit.
