ANTIMATTER Elevates Sportswear for Spring/Summer 2018
Futuristic prints and retro revisions.
Seoul’s ANTIMATTER is no stranger to progressive styling and oversized silhouettes and the brand develops its forward-thinking designs into its Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Dubbed “BIT & BEAT,” the line meshes colorful technical fabrics with street-ready patterns.
Technology-referencing prints — including a VHS logo, BlueTooth symbol and PhotoShop-evoking imagery — adorn sweaters and T-shirts, while checker and tiger camouflage patterns appear on pants and outerwear. Sweatsuits feature ANTIMATTER branding and dropped shoulders, and other sportswear references come in the form of vintage-style tracksuits and athletic shorts updated with loose fits, accessible graphics and extended quarter-zips. Raw-hemmed denim jackets and hoodies add deconstructivist flair to the collection while a camo half-zip apron demonstrates the imprint’s avant-garde inclinations. Finally, a color palette that ranges from neutral hues to jewel tones ensures that the offering avoids monotony.
