Today, October 5, the biggest adidas company store on the planet opened up in Chicago, Illinois. Located in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood, the new adidas Originals flagship stands as a 4,966 square foot building devoted to energizing and bringing more cultural life to the surrounding community it calls home.

Keeping in line with the Chicago theme of the store, adidas enlisted Chicago’s hometown heroes Tubsz and POSE to create customized art pieces and installations for the Wicker Park store. Windy City non-profit organization iPaintMyMind will also use the shop as a way to showcase the the talents of rising local artists; expect various talented individuals to enter the store’s doors to express their artistic skills. A special EQT Support ADV “Wicker Park” was even brought into production to support the store’s grand opening festivities, which also included a launch event with live performances by Knox Fortune, BJ the Chicago Kid and DJ ELZ.

You can take a look at some exclusive photos from the adidas Wicker Park flagship store above, and make sure to check it out for yourself if you’re ever in the area.
