For UBIQ’s latest collaborative sneaker with New Balance, the Philadelphia-based brand reworks the 1600 silhouette, dubbing this creation the “English Crown.” Following up its “The Benjamin” release from back in 2013, which saw the same model tipping its proverbial hat to Benjamin Franklin, this drop takes its inspiration and name from the St. Edward’s crown of the United Kingdom. The sneaker itself features a rich burgundy suede upper, gold stitching throughout, as well as Orb & Scepter detailings on the insoles. Releasing on Saturday, September 9 in-store and online, you can learn more about UBIQ’s inspiration for this project here.
